Lower Body Essentials
Objective data and real-time feedback on lower body strength, power, and range of motion.
Service Description
Lower Body Essentials uses laboratory grade force plates and digital goniometers to give you an objective evaluation of your lower body range of motion and force/power production. Assessments that are included in the Lower Body Essentials... Range of Motion Tests: 1) Sitting Hip Internal/External Rotation 2) Hip Flexion/Extension 3) Hip Abduction 4) Kneeling Knee to Wall (Ankle Dorsiflexion) Strength Tests: 5) Squat Analysis 6) Counter Movement Jump (CMJ) 7) Squat Jump (SJ) 8) Drop Jump (DJ) 9) 10/5 Repetitive Jumps Test (RJ) 10) Isometric Mid-Thigh Pull (IMTP) Key Outcomes: 1) Hip range of motion asymmetries between right and left legs. 2) Center of pressure and weight distribution during eccentric and concentric phases of a squat. 3) Jump height and power output during CMJ. 4) Dynamic strength index, the ration between peak force during CMJ and IMTP, which reveals an ability to utilize max force capacity efficiently during dynamic movements. Add-ons: 1) Force plates/Dynamometers: - Single leg (SL) variations (Rear foot elevated squat, SL box squat, SL CMJ, SL SJ, SL DJ) - Athletic Shoulder Test (I's, Y's, T's) - Push-ups - Shoulder IR/ER strength protocol - Elbow strength protocol. 2) Timing gates: - Speed (15m sprint) - Agility (5-10-5, 505, T-test). 3) Surface electromyography - Knee protocol (Squat (Quads)/knee extension (Quads)/knee flexion (Hamstring)) - Squat analysis (Quadriceps) - Shoulder (Deltoid).
